To me, home is not a place. It’s a person. I thought I found my home until I met you. You took my sorrows away as snow before the sun. Made me bloom like a flower in the morning light, opening their beautiful leaves one more time. Falling asleep with you, warm and cosy in our freshly made bed. Waking up to you, holding hot coffee and a cigarette, ready for another day. While we slowly get used to each others presence in life, we also learn that we can’t go without one or another. I will give you forever to stay. Because I am so grateful that my home is in your arms and not in some place.
